C250DN or C252DN can be driven by setting PCL6 and use CUPS+Gutenprint driver. However, if we use Generic driver, it will not print out color.
Ricoh does not have dedicate PPD driver for Linux platforms like Ubuntu or Debian for SP C250DN and C252DN color printers. However, Ricoh does have driver for MacOS which in fact is a PPD driver. It comes with a PPD installer for MacOS and it will copy to the PPD to MacOS’s CUPS driver folder. We can use this PPD for Linux CUPS setup. With the driver, we can also make Air Print server to make this printer even more valuable if you have Apple devices all around your house.

Both PPDs has been tested in macOS high sierra, and also in AirPrint setup using Debian and CUPS, print, color and alignment all work perfectly.
